The Isntree Chestnut BHA 2% Clear Liquid is an exfoliating toner designed to refine rough skin by sloughing off dead skin cells and accelerating cell turnover. Infused with 2% BHA (salicylic acid), this toner effectively controls sebum production, tightens enlarged pores, and reduces unwanted shine.
Additional ingredients like tannin, extracted from chestnut shells, help to restore the skin's oil-water balance, while a blend of hyaluronic acid, sodium hyaluronate, and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid ensures deep hydration and moisture retention.
Recommended for: Pore care, fungal acne safe, all skin types.
How to use:
- In the first step after cleansing, take an appropriate amount on a cotton pad and gently wipe along the skin texture, avoiding the eye and mouth areas.
- Pat lightly into the skin to aid in absorption.
*Wear sunscreen when using the product in daytime. Recommended usage is 2 to 3 times a week.

I was really excited to try this one since it seemed perfect for my skin type (oily, sensitive, large pores, etc.) and if you have problematic skin, you are always hopeful for a miracle product. The price is quite steep but I was wiling to give it a shot. Unfortunately when I opened the package, I was immediately a bit disappointed by how small the bottle was. The application however feels nice, it works like any other toner and absorbs quickly. I've been using this product for over a month now every night but have unfortunately not noticed any positive changes in my skin whatsoever :( On days where my skin was a bit more sensitive, it even burned a little and irritated it more. Eventually I went back to my Green Tea Toner from the same brand which felt a lot nicer and more effective. I will use up the product, but I don't think I will re-order sadly for the price.

this is the first BHA product i have used and despite it being 2% i found it to be very gentle on the skin yet so effective! i use it every 3 days and i am loving it so far. it does not cause any stinging or irritation, even after thoroughly double-cleansing, and it doesn't leave a strange sticky texture on the face. it actually dries down very nicely. i love this product so much and will definitely be repurchasing it as my exfoliating product. :) it also has 0 pore-clogging ingredients which is so important for me!

Very gentle exfoliator no irritation or massive difference, I use it every other day. Didn't notice any changes on my sebaceous filaments or blackheads but skin fills cleaner/smoother.
